...and the Nelson Gardens?

Well...after The Nelson Museum comes...naturally...Nelson Gardens...one of Monmouth's closest guarded secrets!  You must visit!

First you go under the underpass, and up the steps to...

...a secret world...

...of beauty and tranquility...

...where Nelson took tea and sat in this very seat..,in those golden yerars this garden was a mere tennis court...now sit on the not quite lawn...guys this is a real medieval meadow...carefully cultivated and loved by Penny, Graeme and the gang...

..and this statue of Britannia actually came from the Kymin...and this is a resin replica of the original bronze statue which someone pinched...hmmm...bad person...

...and what a wonderful world of flowers...

...lies at the end of every pathway...

so visit this paradise in Monmouth, just a few minutes walk from waitrose...and big thanks to the awesome Penny and Graeme who gave us a totally awesome talk...
